All Hallow's Choir

Contact:

Collin Nicholson Tel: 01777 871193

All Hallows has a small but enthusiastic choir of adults and children, men and women.  It leads the worship musically at the 10.15am service at All Hallows, and at weddings.

If you are interested in joining the choir please get in touch.

CHOIR AND MUSIC ANNUAL REPORT  2018

Choir numbers have been steady during the year at 8 regulars.  For weddings we try to increase this figure to 10 and for the carol service we had 11 which was great. Many thanks to our regulars and those who joined with us and also to Lavina for organising the choirs for the weddings.

The communion music setting has remained the same - it is of course very difficult to change it without confusing everyone and me too probably.  Hymns chosen have largely been in line with the readings for the day but there is always a place for someone's favourite - just let me know in advance and I will try to include it sometime.

Also thanks to Richard and John for being available to stand in for me on the organ as and when required and to Stephen for assisting too periodically - this is very much appreciated. We do of course have the hymns on CD's for backup use.

Collin Nicholson - Director of Music
